Before security
Use public-area outlets when meeting someone who is not flying or when you still need the check-in entrance. Each terminal has a different layout, so confirm the location before depending on it.
After security
Choose food or retail in a zone from which you can reach the assigned gate. Duty-free access follows the passenger route and applicable rules, and an airport-train journey separates some gate areas.
Keep the flight first
Read the boarding time and gate distance before ordering or shopping. Queues, outlet hours and the gate assignment can change even while a brand remains listed.
